Commending Dr. Harris's success at developing Applied Science as a dynamic, forward-thinking Faculty, Dr. Woodhouse sees great opportunities to build on these strengths.

"The faculty, staff and students at Queen's have shown the ability to think outside the box... and challenge educational paradigms," says, Dr. Woodhouse, who is the Faculty's first female Dean.

Excited by Queen's leadership in developing multi- and interdisciplinary initiatives both within Applied Science and with other Faculties at the University, Dr. Woodhouse hopes to continue these efforts, particularly in the area of bringing together technical expertise and policy know-how.
