The Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science of Queen's University, distinguished by a tradition of student spirit and by the abiding loyalty of its graduates, is to be recognized for:

• exceptional programs leading to broadly educated and professionally prepared engineering graduates with an instilled capacity for life-long learning
